"I can't stop eating oreo cookies,
usually about a dozen at a time.

There's a slim chance
I'm in love with them
even though my stomach
only processes the creme filling
and I usually end up sitting
on the toilet, shitting out familiar
black chunks of enriched flour.

Nobody wants this much realism
in their poetry or their prose, this
is something
you won't quote or think of fondly.

It will make you vaguely uncomfortable
in the grocery aisle, perhaps.
